The Library at the South African National Gallery has unique
references on South African and international art. The collection
boasts: books & journals, newspaper clippings since 1904, DVDs, CDs &
videos, art boxes for scholars, students and academics, a
comprehensive pamphlet collection from the turn of the century,
exhibition invitations & postcards and exhibition catalogues.
In line with museum policy, the Library develops projects to make its
resources available to as many people in the community as possible.
