Central Durbanville walking tour to view buildings and sites
The idea for this unusual tour came from looking at a twenty-year old document entitled Conservation-worthy buildings and sites in central Durbanville. Of the twenty-eight buildings listed in this document, one is still be able to see seventeen. Some of these remain in their original form, whilst others have been renovated beyond recognition.
Join the Friends for this unique opportunity to see some of these buildings. Nigel Amschwand will be our guide and will explain the historic significance of these interesting sites. The tour starts and ends at Rust-en-Vrede in Wellington Road, Durbanville.
We suggest that you have coffee on arrival and lunch after the tour at the Yoco Eatery at Rust-en-Vrede.
