Cape Town-based artist Claudette Schreuders shows a new group of the painted wooden sculptures for which she is renowned. These figures collectively reflect on the fantasy of love that takes shape in our minds before we actually experience it, as in a fairy tale. The works also offer an ode to art and literature, to escapism and the idea of living in a world of fiction.
