After the restoration of the Castle was completed in the early 1990s, areas were made available to the museum to mount new displays. Displayed in the Grain Cellars constructed in c. 1695 are building fragments and archaeological material recovered from the Castle. Rooms on the main floor of the Secunde's or Vice Governor's House have been furnished to recreate living spaces of Castle officials spanning three centuries. In addition, the museum is a venue for exciting art and history exhibitions in the Good Hope Gallery and in B Block.
