Room 6: Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
In 1995 Parliament drafted legislation to establish a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Its brief was to conduct investigations and hold hearings in order to make as complete a record as possible of the causes, nature and extent of gross human rights violations. It also had to facilitate the granting of amnesty.
