  • Bookings are considered confirmed only once you receive the faxed museum confirmation form.
  • In the event that a school has to cancel a booking, please try to do so at least two weeks in advance.
  • Fees are due on arrival. Cheques should be made out to Iziko Museums of Cape Town. Please note: we do not accept cash cheques. A receipt will be issued immediately upon payment.
  • NB. For visits to the Castle, cheque should be made out to the Castle Control Board Development Fund and not Iziko.
  • Entrance is free to adults accompanying learners, up to a limit of five adults. The booking confirmation form will indicate how many adults are allowed free entrance.
  • Schools are requested to maintain a minimum ratio of 1 adult chaperone per 20 learners.
