GENERAL SCHOOLS PROGRAMME FROM 14-17 MAY 2007
This year Iziko Museums will be hosting a week-long programme starting
on 14 May 2007 to lead up to the celebration of International
Museums Day on 18 May 2007. This year’s theme, Museums and
Universal Heritage, will be the focus of museums and heritage
institutions across the globe.
On 18 May 2007, Iziko Museums will be opening its doors to the
public and entry will be FREE at all sites. There will also be guided
tours and behind-the scenes visits arranged for booked groups to see
how Iziko natural
history collections, amongst others, are developed,
researched and prepared for display or conservation. If you are
