SLAVERY WALKING TOURS
20–24 OCTOBER 2008

As a build up to the commemorative event on 20–24 October, Slavery Tours will take place at the Iziko Slave Lodge Museum for invited guests and school groups from 10h00–11h00. The very popular Slavery walking trail, which begins outside the Iziko Slave Lodge Museum where slaves were once housed, includes a visit to the slave tree, a tour of the Bo-Kaap area where freed slaves lived, and the Iziko Bo-Kaap Museum.

Tours will take place from 11h30–13h00. Booking is essential.
