Iziko Planetarium School Programme

The Planetarium now forms part of the Education and Public Programmes structure at Iziko and runs a school programme in conjunction with the Education and Public Programmes department. General Information

• Entrance fees: R6,00 per person for pupils, teachers and accompanying parents (subject to change).
• Presentation times: Monday to Friday at 09:00, 10:15, 11:30 and 12:45 during school term (excluding 1st Monday of the month).
• Each presentation lasts approximately 45 minutes.
• The Planetarium seating capacity is 140.
• Please note - the Planetarium does not supply busses.

Booking procedure for schools and colleges

• Phone the Planetarium, 021 481 3929 weekday mornings 08:30 - 13:00 to secure a booking.
• A detailed letter of confirmation will then be sent to you.
• You will be required to pay for your booking at least 10 days before the date booked.
• Please note - we cannot accommodate spontaneous arrivals.
