Music maestro returns to the Old Town House
Following a sell-out performance in Cape Town last year, versatile American composer and pianist Christopher Culpo is returning to the elegant venue of the Old Town House, Greenmarket Square, on 21 December at 18:30 to delight audiences with a programme of jazz, festive works and catchy compositions.

With the holiday season looming, Iziko Museums are offering a variety of workshops for participants of all ages. Ranging from art to clothing design and from archaeology to taxidermy, workshops are R20 each unless otherwise stated. more>>

Opening on 2 December at the Iziko S A National Gallery in Cape Town, is 'Invoice', a survey show of the work of Santu Mofokeng, one of South Africa's foremost photographers and, according to international curator Simon Njami, 'one of the most important photographers of his generation'.

After a year of fabulous events, Friends of SA Museum will host a celebratory, musical "time warp". On 28 November, at 18:30 for 19:00, in the Whale Well of the Iziko SA Museum, the harmonious sounds of Bach and Telemann will transport the audience back to the bygone days of Baroque.
