Talk on "Climate change"
evolves into fossil hunt 27 Feb
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Prof
Bruce Hewitson will not be available to discuss "Climate
Change" on 27 February at 19:00 at Iziko SA Museum. However,
Friends of SA Museum are delighted to host renowned
palaeontologist and lecturer, Dr Roger Smith, who discusses his
experiences whilst "Fossil Hunting in Niger".

the artist
Clothes may not maketh the man but fabric certainly plays a
significant, if subtle, role in works of art. The articulation
of drapery in painting," says Hayden Proud, curator of Iziko's
Historical Paintings and Sculpture, "is certainly a major aspect
of the history of art."
