Bead it! African
Bead Workshop
Enjoy a
two-session African Bead Workshop on 21 and 28 July from
10:00-15:00 at Iziko South African Museum's Blue Room.
Facilitated by Phetheni Masilela as part of Iziko's Winter
Public Programme, the workshop will focus on various African
beading techniques and will also guide participants through the
process of creating their own items, such as jewellery and
key-rings.

Sneeze as art -
new video installation at Iziko South African National Gallery
From 26 June until 28
October 2007, the Iziko South African National Gallery will be
showing 'the sneeze 80 x 80', a video installation that was
instigated alongside the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004. A
global grouping of 80 international artists presents videos that
together produce one complete work, a celebration of image
diversity and unknown connections.

Gallery host a walkabout of the exhibition "Cyprian Shilakoe
