Armchair tour of the Roman Empire
On 12 June at 18:30 for 19:00 at Iziko South African Museum, Dr
Tim Rideout will take audiences on an armchair tour of ‘The grandeur
that was Rome’. Superb builders and architects, unquestioned masters
of public grandeur, the Romans nevertheless saw their entire ‘dolce
vita’ collapse in less than a hundred years.
