African Dinosaurs is a new and exciting exhibition that opens at the Iziko South African Museum on the 29th May 2010. This exhibition is the culmination of several years of planning and development. As the title suggests, it showcases dinosaurs and their reptilian relatives that lived in Africa millions of years ago. On 18 May 2010 museums around the world will celebrate International Museum Day. Museums wield the potential to serve as platforms from which cultural exchange, awareness and enrichment can be facilitated in order to promote tolerance and understanding. Re-opening of Iziko Social History Library
