On Saturday 9 September at 14:30 at Michaelis School of Fine Art, Nandipha Mntambo, one of five artists selected for the MTN New Contemporaries 2006 exhibition, discusses her work which investigates and challenges ideas of femininity and the female form. Described as "not for the squeamish", her innovative art evolves out of hides, bones, beads and other materials.
