Voyage around her forefathers
On 31 October at 19:00 at Iziko
SA Museum, Friends of SA
Museum host radio personality Patricia Glyn who discusses
the challenges, fears and triumphs of her solo walking
expedition through big five territory from Durban to Zimbabwe,
covering thousands of kilometres. Following in the footsteps of
her adventurous forefathers, Sir Richard Glyn and his brother
Robert, with only her dog Tapiwa for company, Patricia found the
experience to be one of great personal development.
In a talk entitled "Footing with Sir Richard's ghost", Glyn
shares with audiences experiences which range from screamingly
funny to deeply moving.
