"Visit" Great Pyramid at
Planetarium
During the school holidays, Cape Town's theatre of stars,
Iziko Planetarium,
offers daily edutainment for stargazers of all ages.
From 2 December, junior
stargazers can join
Sunshine Simon on his quest to find the "missing" sun whilst
teens and adults can journey to the
Great Pyramid of Khufu,
largest of all pyramids whose elaborate system of shafts is
ingeniously directed towards the most prominent stars in the
night sky. Shows run daily. The popular "The
Sky Tonight" runs weekends at 13:00. The Planetarium is
closed on Christmas Day.
Tickets can be purchased at the door. Enq: +27 (0)21 481 3900.
