Imagining the dinosaur
With the discovery of ancient bones came our first imagining of
the dinosaur. Since then, the notion of prehistoric beasts has
been a source of fascination for us.
The
new Iziko Planetarium
show "Dinosaurs"
gives viewers an appreciation of the diversity and magnificence
of these creatures, once the undisputed rulers of earth who
roamed the same land and dwelt beneath the self-same stars as we
do.
Suitable for adults and teens, the show runs daily from 31
March. For children under 12 years, "Morris
Mouse" is on daily during school holidays while the popular
"Sky Tonight"
runs weekends at 13:00.
Following your journey into space, the best way to come down to
earth is via the Museum Café which serves a scrumptious
lunchtime buffet and a wide selection of other treats.
