Mosaic Tile Art Workshop at Iziko
As part of Iziko Museums'
Winter Public Programme,
a 2-session mosaic tile art workshop will be held in the Blue Room
at Iziko SA Museum on 7 and 14 July.
Running from 10:00-13:00 over 2 consecutive Saturdays, the course,
conducted by Isgak Stemmett, includes discussion on this popular art
form used to adorn such famous monuments as the Taj Mahal. The
history of mosaic, design conceptualisation and product development
will be examined and participants will then create beautiful and
handy mosaic items.
