05/09/2007 Film producer son of Steve Biko talks at Iziko

As part of its Heritage Month celebrations, Iziko Museums hosts a talk by Nkosinathi Biko, son of Steve Biko and producer of the film “Biko – Beacon of Hope”. The event takes place in the TH Barry Lecture Theatre at Iziko South African Museum on Tuesday 11 September between 12:00-13:00 and forms part of a week-long programme celebrating the life of Steve Biko, leader of the Black Consciousness Movement, whose murder 30 years ago marked a turning point in the political history of the country. The film will be screened after the talk making this an event not to be missed.
