Film producer son of Steve Biko
talks at Iziko
As part of its Heritage Month
celebrations, Iziko Museums hosts
a talk by Nkosinathi Biko, son of Steve Biko and producer of the
film
“Biko – Beacon of Hope”. The event takes place in the TH
Barry Lecture Theatre at Iziko South African Museum on Tuesday 11
September between 12:00-13:00 and forms part of a week-long
programme celebrating the life of Steve Biko, leader of the Black
Consciousness Movement, whose murder 30 years ago marked a turning
point in the political history of the country. The film will be
screened after the talk making this an event not to be missed.

on the life of Steve Biko, are supported by the
