Tea with 'celebrities' - playwright's farewell performance

On 7 November, at 10:30 for 11:00, actor, director, dancer and educator, Peter Voges, takes a last curtain call when he presents a farewell performance of his acclaimed play ‘Tea with my Aunts’ at the Iziko South African National Gallery. The play is described as being informal – so much so that the actor sits among the audience, enjoying tea and cake, in much the same way that his celebrated aunts and patrons of the arts entertained many illustrious, and occasionally dubious, personalities.

Hosted by Friends of the South African National Gallery, the event costs R40 for Friends, R50 for guests, including (of course) tea and cake.
