By popular demand, Iziko Museums will be hosting another exciting Treasure Hunt by torchlight on Tuesday, 11 December, from 18:15–20:15.

It will be a case of ‘lights out and thinking caps on’ as competing teams work their way through the South African Museum’s different levels and exhibits in search of clues and hopefully, prizes. Suitable for the whole family, the event costs R20 per person. Please remember to bring your torches!

On Wednesday, 12 December, from 11:00–13:00, the race is on again. This time it’s the Amazing T-race, run across the three museum sites in the Company’s Gardens. Suitable for participants aged 8 years and older, and supervised by Iziko’s Education team, the challenge of the event is to find hidden clues in unexpected places. Entry is R20 per person.
