20/08/2008 Berni Searle: lyrical installations, global themes

On 11 September at 11:00 at the Michael Stevenson Contemporary in Woodstock, visitors can meet artist Berni Searle who holds a solo exhibition at the venue. Her evocative video installations, described as ‘lyrical and abstracted’, address such global themes as xenophobia and
the dangers of nationalism. Hosted by Friends of the Iziko South African National Gallery, the event costs R20 per person.
