With Spring hopefully in the air and the school holidays in sight, it’s time to hotfoot it to Iziko Planetarium to find out all about ‘Sunshine Simon and the Dark Day’.

From 27 September until 5 October, holiday fare at the Planetarium will include ‘Sunshine Simon’ for the 5-12 year olds, running daily at 12:00 and 13:00, and weekends at 12:00. Mister Sun, it seems, has forgotten to rise and Sunshine Simon is determined to find out why!

For teens and adults, the show ‘Do the stars influence your life?’ may provide some interesting and unexpected answers.

The popular ‘Sky Tonight’, an in-depth look at the current night sky, will be in its usual slot at 13:00 on Saturdays and Sundays
