It is not known what the original purpose of this room, situated
between the two bedrooms, was. A study of the plasterwork reveals that
there was once a doorway through to the main bedroom, and it is
believed to have been a dressing room.
Today this room is hung with banners discussing the life and times of
Marie Koopmans-De Wet and creates an awareness of the less famous, but
nevertheless present, people who made it possible for Marie to
maintain her upper-class lifestyle.
