South African Library Week: 16-21 March
In celebration of South African Library Week (Monday 16 until Saturday 21 March), Iziko Museums of Cape Town’s Natural History, Social History and Art Collections Libraries will again be hosting their annual popular Library Week programme. more >>

 

 
 The Library at the South African National Gallery has unique references on South African and international art. The collection boasts: books & journals, newspaper clippings since 1904, DVDs, CDs & videos, art boxes for scholars, students and academics, a comprehensive pamphlet collection from the turn of the century, exhibition invitations & postcards and exhibition catalogues.

In line with museum policy, the Library develops projects to make its resources available to as many people in the community as possible.
