Pipe, Eastern Cape
Carved in the shape of a woman grinding grain; the writing on the pipe
indicates that it will be made into beer. Although tobacco smoking
using elegant pipes in a variety of forms was enjoyed by men and
women, the example seems to have particular associations with a male
smoker.
