Chair, side, ebony and cane, black, probably Indian, Coast of
Coromandel, late 17th / early 18th century
Large and of solid ebony with turned upright members. The face of all
horizontal members are grooved and hollowed. Turned finials,
baluster-turned legs with square sections. Front and back stretchers
placed higher than side stretchers. Ball feet.
