Bowl, glass, by Shirley Cloete,
Somerset West, Western Cape, 1988
Called 'Sea Bowl', the body tapers towards the top and glass in relief
on the body symbolizes waves. Different shades of blue, green, orange
and white symbolize the sea. Flat and polished base with the engraving
'Shirley Cloete 1988'.
In 1974 Shirley Cloete pioneered the Studio Glass Movement in South
Africa.
