This exhibition about the African National Congress leader and politician, Oliver Tambo, is produced by the Apartheid Museum. Tambo, along with Nelson Mandela and Walter Sisulu were founding members of the ANC Youth League in 1943. Tambo headed the ANC’s Mission in Exile and led the organisation during challenging times. The exhibition depicts Tambo’s career, in which he played a key role in mobilising opposition to apartheid on the international stage.
