ARTISTRY in REVIEW: the Matric class of 2020


Join Iziko Museums in celebrating the artwork of visual art learners from the Cape Winelands District, with the launch of a new online showcase!

ARTISTRY in REVIEW is an online virtual showcase, held in collaboration with the Western Cape Education Department (WCED), showcasing the artworks of South Africa’s new young school leavers – the Matric class of 2020. 

The showcase features a representation of each school in the Western Cape offering visual art, with the presentations divided into districts. The first showcase as part of ARTISTRY in REVIEW features Matric 2020 visual art learners from the Cape Winelands District, and was launched online on Wednesday, 24 March 2021!

ARTISTRY in REVIEW is presented on both the Iziko website and the WCED website, with one district featured per month. The online showcase will feature online until August 2021.
