In this talk Wendy Taylor will present some background about the research she has been involved with over the past eight years in South Africa and Artic Norway, on the evolution of early organisms, called “Ediacarans”.

Why should you care about Ediacarans?  These important fossils give us a window into the appearance of the first complex animals to evolve on Earth.
