Here are the exciting roles we’re hiring for:

PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT

Basic Salary Range: R 374 822.25 per annum, plus benefits

Requirements: Relevant National Diploma/Certificate or equivalent SAQA level qualification in an administrative profession. Ideal: Secretarial/Administrative Diploma: Public Administration Diploma and relevant experience as an Executive Secretary/Personal Assistant • Valid code EB Driver’s License • At least 4 years’ experience within a secretarial role of which 2 should have been in a position supporting a Senior Manager/Executive Director in a customer focussed environment • Respect confidentiality • High proficiency with the commonly used computer software and applications i.e using various computer packages – Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel) • Knowledge of MS Project and Access will be an advantage • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in report writing and minute taking • Basic office management including management of petty cash, mail distribution etc. • Preparing reports and presentations • Accuracy and attention to detail, able to be diplomatic and discrete at all times • Highly organized with good project management skills • Administrative experience in Fundraising and Budgeting will be an advantage • Service Delivery Innovation • Senior Management Report-writing • Problem Solving & Analysis • Maintaining good relationships with internal and external Clients • Multilingualism in South African languages • This position entails spending more time using the mind and hands. The incumbent would also need to listen and talk often • The role may also require spending longer hours at the Office.

BASIC SALARY AND BENEFITS
The salaries quoted above do not include benefits. Iziko benefits comprise generous contributions towards a designated retirement fund (compulsory), a designated medical aid (voluntary) and a housing subsidy (voluntary). Other employment conditions such as working hours and leave entitlement are also generous.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
The salary range quoted above excludes employment benefits comprising a 13th cheque, a contribution towards a designated retirement fund (compulsory) and a designated medical aid (voluntary) as well as a housing subsidy. Additional employment conditions such as leave entitlement are generous.

Please be advised that the weekend(SAT and SUN) operating hours have been adjusted. 

The museums will open operate from 08h30 to 16h00 on weekends during winter.

 

Saturdays from 08h30 to 16h00

Iziko South African Museum and Planetarium, Iziko South African National Gallery, 

Iziko Bo-Kaap Museum and Iziko Slave Lodge. 

 

Sundays from 08h30 to 16h00
