Iziko Museums of South Africa in partnership with the Goethe-Institut will host “The Science Film Festival 2023”.
This year, the theme for the Science Film Festival, is the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
A series of screenings of pre-selected films will take place at the TH Barry Lecture Theatre, Iziko South African Museum. Screenings take place at 10am, 12pm and 2pm on 6 October, 3 November, and 5 December 2023.
The Science Film Festival aims to promote science literacy and facilitate awareness of some of the current scientific, technological, and environmental issues by showcasing a series of international films. A Goethe-Institut project, the Science Film Festival is a celebration of science communication in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.
