From African Earth celebrates the artistry, beauty, warmth and texture of vessels made by African ceramicists from various regions – from Egypt in the far north, to the southernmost parts of the continent. This exhibition originated in partnership with Ceramics Southern Africa (Western Cape). Currently, the exhibition is offered in a slightly altered format, showing a selection of historical and contemporary clay works from the Iziko permanent collection only.
