Mrs Fahrnaaz Johadien was appointed as the Executive Director Operations at Iziko Museums of South Africa in May 2025. She holds a Master’s Degree in Project Management (Cum Laude), a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Cape Town, and diplomas in Human Resource Management and Information Systems Project Management. She has also completed various certificates in project Management and Management Development.
With extensive experience in both the museum and project management sectors, Mrs Johadien previously served at Iziko as Director: Customer Services and as a Programmes Manager. Her broader professional background includes roles such as Programmes Manager at Comprehend It, Senior Project Manager at the University of the Western Cape, Project Coordinator at 20Twenty Financial Services, and Curator at Skylight Galleries. She has also freelanced for Gennexxus and Backgammon Connection. Mrs Johadien brings strategic leadership and operational expertise to her role, contributing to the ongoing development and success of Iziko Museums
